Townhouse Ceramics Studio & Gallery

What a great place! Just finished my second 8 week pottery course It’s been a great experience meeting lovely interesting people and making some great pieces with the guidance of the Gavin…. I signed up for a local pottery class here in Bishops Stortford mainly to try something different, and it turned out to be one of the nicest things I’ve done in years. The tutor Gavin was patient as well as entertaining & the group was friendly & interesting and there was something very satisfying about learning to shape clay with my own hands, even when it went a bit wonky. It was relaxed, enjoyable, and a good way to spend a few hours doing something creative instead of sitting at home. I’d happily recommend it to anyone thinking of giving it a go.
