Parkside Pottery

This was the best pottery painting experience ever! We’ve done a few of these over the years but this one stands out from the crowd. Emma shares her expertise and guides you but allows you the freedom to experiment and have so much fun. A huge range of paints, stamps and stencils made it fun regardless of the level of experience. We celebrated a birthday and this was a great grown up family afternoon out. We laughed and relaxed and made some really fun pieces which I know we’re going to treasure. Can’t wait to go back and try some of the courses too. Highly recommend. Free on street parking which is an absolute bonus and only 10min drive from central Hove. Charming studio and great value activity.

Incredible experience today with Emma! We had such a fun time experimenting with the huge variety of paints she had, and we were so happy with what we created. She kindly let us stay overtime to finish our pieces, which we really appreciated. Can’t wait to pick up our finished ceramics! We’ll definitely be back soon ☺️

Emma has created a very beautiful space - I have been twice now to do some pottery painting with my siblings and created some wonderful memories here with them. I have also planned more visits too. I love the calm atmosphere, not like the pottery cafes in the town centres that rush you and feel so overwhelming this is the opposite. Perfect for any occasion really. It is highly addictive, my new hobby for sure! Also very reasonably priced!

We asked Emma to spend the day with a very frazzled Support Team from our Assisted Living House who had been through some difficult times as a team, and we wanted to build them back up again and see themselves as the amazing team they are. Emma did a fantastic job, not only with what the team produced, but also with how they can all really see each other's strengths and weaknesses, as well as creativity. The team really enjoyed the day. It was relaxed and informal, and they are still talking about it! The tiles they produced are now situated in the dining room of the house for all to see. I can highly recommend Parkside Pottery and we will definitely be using them again soon.

We enjoyed a fabulous afternoon in Emma’s pottery barn, creating some beautiful pieces and making happy memories on our holiday in Brighton. We were literally staying round the corner in Portlslade so it was a perfect location. But it’s very easy to get to on the number 6 bus route or parking outside if needed. Lots of different pottery items to choose from and a whole rainbow of colours to paint with. Will definitely come back if we’re in Brighton again.

My family and I did pottery painting this weekend. We had such a lovely experience thanks to Emma. There were lots of pottery options to choose from and the colour options and stencelling/various equipment available were excellent! Emma was so helpful and is clearly an expert in all things pottery! We can't wait to come back again!

I had a great experience at Parkside Pottery. The studio is very nice, clean and well organized, with many different cups, plates and vases ready to decorate. It was very fun to choose the colors and paint my own design. The teacher was amazing, very kind, patient and professional. She explained everything clearly and always helped when I needed. I felt very relaxed while painting, and it was a very creative activity that made me happy. I would really recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something different, relaxing and enjoyable.
