I did a 6 week beginners everything course with tutor Mitsu. We started with a hand built project then did some throwing at the wheel. I came away with 5 pieces which were carefully stored and fired by the team at The Mud House. The experience was calm and very enjoyable. Mitsu was amazing at answering all our questions and demonstrating. Thank you for the wonderful experience, I hope to come back soon!!
I cannot recommend the mud house enough - I attended a mindfulness pinch potting session and had the best time. This is a relaxed, inclusive space where you're encouraged to feel your feelings and express them through the medium of clay. I learnt so much from El who delivered the session in a fun and engaging way. I can't wait to return to try their other offerings!
Lovely two-session weekend on the intensive beginner’s course. The tutor Princess was great - really enthusiastic, encouraging and clear. Felt like I learnt a lot in a short time and enjoyed the journey!
Fantastic workshop for our Christmas do. Brilliant patient teacher and we learnt a lot. Really chuffed with the pieces we threw and great to see our progression over the class.
Had the most amazing experience with the beginner 101 pottery throwing and glazing courses! The instructors were very knowledgeable and super friendly. The studio was fully equipped with everything you could need (for a beginner and for a pro). Highly recommend to anyone looking to explore pottery!
Had the most amazing class this morning at The Mud House! Such a beautiful space, great teacher Cherry and a lovely community feel. Highly recommend booking a taster course, I made two pots and get to take them home soon.
I did the 6 weeks Everything Course and it was brilliant! Ros is a great teacher, she shares her passion for pottery in a calm and easy to understand way. The classes were fun and friendly with the perfect balance of slab building and time on the wheel. I was genuinely surprised by what I managed to achieve on this course and so happy with my finished pieces. Thanks Ros, I can’t wait to do more pottery at The Mud House!
