We attended a candle making workshop as a hen-party activity. Nicola was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to accommodate us - from decorating the event space to providing refreshments and leading a very engaging workshop on candle making! Would highly recommend this workshop.

Last night’s candle-making workshop was such a wonderful and wholesome experience! From the moment we arrived, the calming atmosphere and wonderful fragrances created the perfect environment to unwind and get creative. Nicola had clearly put a lot of thought and hard work into organising everything, ensuring we all found a scent we truly loved. One of the highlights was learning to hand-roll beeswax candles, which was so satisfying and hands-on. We even got into the festive spirit early by crafting some of them into adorable Christmas tree shapes! I’ve done a few of these workshops now, and I’m already booked for the next one. If you’re thinking of trying your hand at candle making, I totally recommend it! These events are suitable for both groups of friends and individuals. Go along and have fun!

Have done a couple of the acrylic workshops and am currently taking part in the 6 week course (2 pencil sketches, 2 watercolours & 2 acrylics) - absolutely brilliant. Cherish is great, so patient, I've learned a lot and enjoyed every minute of the classes. Will definitely be signing up for future painting courses/workshops. Signed up for Christmas wreath making in December and would love to try the candle making (next on my list of to do's).

Had a great evening with my daughter, painting a sea scape, was given a gift vouchers from my nephew for our birthdays, was lovely spending time in a relaxed atmosphere, with attentive and friendly hosts, we were complete novices and with step by step easy instructions given, we both came away with our individual paintings and are proudly displayed at home, would recommend .

I attended James’ very first Art and Sip class, and absolutely loved it! James is an excellent teacher and the evening was very relaxed, but fun. I met some lovely people and would highly recommend Mackenzie Art classes.

Spent a very enjoyable, inspiring and encouraging evening of acrylic painting and proving to yourself "yes I can paint and draw"
