Rainbow Cottage Pottery

Bought my mum a voucher for a class for 2 as she loves pottery but had never used a wheel before as had been too anxious in large group environments. We had a 2 hour class and had so much fun, Pippa was so accommodating, friendly and warming and we learnt so much. Would 100% recommend to anyone to do and will always suggest Rainbow Cottage Pottery every time!

We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was such an enjoyable experience. When we weren’t laughing or smiling we were concentrating hard and trying not to mess up our clay! Pip is such a nice woman, so warm and welcoming and it ended up being the highlight of our weekend. We’re looking forward to seeing how our pottery comes out in a few weeks too.

Had a truly excellent day at Rainbow Cottage Pottery. Pippa is an excellent teacher, patient and knowledgeable. I didn't expect to be able to produce anything substantial as I'm not skilled at crafts normally but I understood what to do and am looking forward to getting the pieces I made once they're glazed and fired. I recommend Pippa's workshops to everyone

What a fantastic morning we had at Rainbow Cottage. Pip is a really brilliant teacher and her studio is a beautiful spot with a great set-up. Pip's teaching style is the perfect mix of encouragement, demonstration and hands-on, as well as being great fun. We did a wheel session and as we had a wheel each, there wasn't a moment where we had to wait. During our session, we learnt so much more than we had dared to hope and each produced three pieces worthy of firing. The price of the workshop is an absolute bargain and Pip charges a very modest amount for firing and glazing. I'm really looking forward to collecting our fired work in a few weeks and will definitely be booking future sessions.

We had a fantastic time at the Rainbow Cottage Pottery tester session. The time just flew by! I would definitely recommend Pip to my friends and family. She instantly made us feel welcome. So patient, and explained the techniques of pottery in a way we were able to understand and were able to create our own masterpieces as a lovely keepsake!

We had a fantastic time under the expert tuition and guidance of Pippa. From beginning to end our experience was insightful, creative and extremely good fun. The best three hours spent in years with some surprisingly good pottery to take home. Great for all ability and ages in a very comfortable setting.

I purchased the taster session for two as a gift - Pip was super efficient in communicating and sending the gift card out. The taster session it’s self was fabulous - Pip created a welcoming and laid back environment for us to learn, and we really had the best afternoon creating our own master pieces! Thank you Pip!
