A relaxing and rewarding way to spend my Friday evenings 🙂 The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Kate is super supportive and gives you the freedom to explore your own ideas. She’s always there with helpful guidance when you need it, but also gives you the space to create what feels right for you. I always leave the class feeling calm, inspired, and proud of what I’ve made. Highly recommend!
Took part in a half-day pottery class with Kate as a birthday present from my partner - Kate was excellent; clearly very experienced and knowledgeable but with the patience of a saint for the newbies! Helped us to create a range of interesting pots and then when asked showed us how to make 2 highland cows; all the pieces now sit happily on display in the living room at our new house. Overall, excellent value for money, and we ended up with some great pieces. Very happy.
I’ve been coming to weekly pottery class for 4 years and love it! Such a warm and friendly community and Kate is a great teacher. She gives just the right amount of instruction and encouragement so you can pursue your own creative projects. Highly recommend to anyone of any ability who’s interested in giving it a go
Kate is a fantastic teacher. She passes on her experience and skill in a calm and friendly manner. She encourages you to push yourself and try all aspects of handmade and thrown pottery. Her knowledge and experience with how to handle clay and glazes makes learning easy and fun.
Kate is a great teacher. I learnt so much and had a lovely afternoon. I highly recommend the wheel throwing, it was great fun!
Took my wife for a 3hour session with Kate. Brilliant time, throwing pots and freestyle modelling. She loved it, so did my daughter. Brownie points all round. Wholeheartedly recommend. Kate kept our efforts and fired them later, then called us about six weeks later to go and collect them. By that time, you've forgotten what you made and are surprised by how good your efforts are!!!
