Creative Ceramics Edinburgh

I had the most amazing day today, spending my birthday learning how to throw and also painting some pre-made pieces made by the lovely Sandra! We were made to feel very welcome, and Sandra was very informative when teaching us how to use the wheel (and saving the clay when it collapsed)! I would highly recommend Creative Ceramics to everyone! I was having so much fun I barely stopped to take photos, but I have attached some of the ones I took near the end:) Thank you so much Sandra, you truly are amazing!

I had a fantastic experience at Sandra's studio when I took my 11-year-old daughter and a few of her friends for a ceramic session. Sandra was incredibly welcoming and patient with the kids (and me). The children had the opportunity to try their hand at the throwing wheel and hand-building, and they had a blast. Sandra's encouragement gave them a significant confidence boost, and they were buzzing with excitement for the rest of the afternoon. Thank you, Sandra, for such a memorable and enjoyable experience!

My parents and I had a lovely afternoon absorbed in painting pottery for my Mum’s birthday. We had a lot of fun, painting and chatting, and appreciated the guidance along the way from Sandra. Overall a very enjoyable experience and would highly recommend! We can’t wait to see the final result!

I had an amazing time with Sandra! I was looking for a pottery experience around Christmas day and Sandra was still doing lessons! Had a fun time with throwing and glazing. Two tips for anyone going, wear something with sleeves that are easy to roll up and yes the door outside is shorter than my partner. It is all in all a great experience!

I wanted to take my mum to something special as a Mother's Day gift so booked in for a 2 hour pottery session with Creative Ceramics. Sandra really gives 100% and made sure our experience was incredible from the moment we arrived. We had so much fun creating a piece for the first time, followed by some relaxing time painting a pre-made piece. We could put our own music on, and were given coffee and biscuits which was an added bonus. I would recommend this experience to everyone, and encourage anyone to support local independent businesses like Creative Ceramics 🙂

Me and my sister went here for a pottery and painting class. We both really enjoyed it. We got to make 2 items on the wheel then paint 1 item that was already made. Sandra was really helpful on the class with just us 2. Defo recommend!

Had a lovely 2 hours with Sandra learning to throw pottery on the wheel and paint/glaze. She was super friendly and helpful, and we were made to feel very welcome. Can’t recommend her enough!
