Mum and I went to a batik workshop at Crafts in the Valley this October, and had a really fab day out. Melanie Louise is such a patient and lovely teacher, and it was a joy to learn a new craft in such a beautiful and inspiring studio. We are both keen to try more workshops next year! Thank you again for such a memorable day.
Did a beginners glass fusing class here on Saturday. Totally blown away, brilliant experience. Great instruction from the brilliantly talented Melanie Louise. Highly recommended if you're looking for a new challenge!
Absolutely amazing class! Thankyou so much Melanie 😊 We cant wait to book a different class again. I booked the beginners fused class, for my partners birthday present and was beyond impressed. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed it, so fun and relaxing. We're really giddy to pick up the finished pieces. Melanie was great at keeping us refreshed with tea and sweet teats. The entire class flowed so well; she explained everything so clearly, it was easy to follow. She had the studio so well laid out with many examples and inspiration. Theres so many materials and tools to work with! Endless creative opportunities. Melanie is fab at giving glass tips and tricks, aswell as advice to how best execute our ideas when we needed help. Melanie is so easy to get on with and we cant wait to go back. Will be recommending her classes to everyone.
I attended the Beginners Fused Glass workshop last Sunday 14th July making several items. What a treat! A full day of learning how to (safely) cut glass before creating a lovely star, a slump bowl, coaster, 2 pieces of jewellery and a pretty little box to keep the jewellery in and eating lots of delicious cakes! Melanie is the best, providing support and sharing her knowledge with you, allowing you to create something very special.
Attended my 2nd workshop today and had a another fabulous experience . Melanie is generous with her time, support and offering advise in a friendly manner . The day just flew by ,being creative , making new friends and cake ! I have no hesitation in recommending these workshops . I created a number of pieces and I am looking forward to collecting them .
