The most wonderful pottery studio! Carole and Talia are both amazing teachers and super helpful when you need a little help bringing your ideas to life. Whether it's wheel throwing or handbuilding you're in good hands to create beautiful pottery ❤️

My first experience at Clay with Carole Pottery was everything I had hoped it would be and more. Pottery is something I have always wanted to try, and I am so pleased that this was where I chose to begin. We attended as a group of eight, and from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The hospitality was exceptional, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for us all. Talia was absolutely wonderful. Despite the size of our group, she ensured that each of us received individual attention and clear, detailed guidance throughout. Her patience, encouragement, and expertise made the experience both enjoyable and rewarding. We all thoroughly enjoyed learning to use the wheel, shaping the clay, and decorating our creations. It was such a memorable and special experience for everyone in our party. I would wholeheartedly recommend Clay with Carole Pottery to anyone considering trying something creative and unique. It truly was a fantastic experience.

We attended the 10am three-hour class last Saturday at Clay with Carole as a birthday treat for my sister, and it turned into such a special morning together. Spending a few hours creating, chatting, and laughing as sisters was just what we needed. Carole is an expert and an incredibly patient, encouraging teacher who made everyone feel relaxed and capable, whatever their experience. We all left feeling proud of what we’d made and even closer than when we arrived. I couldn’t recommend this experience more — a genuinely lovely way to celebrate and spend time together.

I attended a morning wheel throwing workshop, the instructions was thorough and clear, there were facilities enough that everyone who attended could be seated at their own wheel and though not the most elegant piece I managed to create something I'm happy with with no prior experience whatsoever. Highly recommended for anyone who has always wanted to try wheel throwing, or has watched pottery throwdown and is convinced it's easy (it really isn't). The half day workshops don't look like they are long enough to make something but I had time to be taught how to throw while making my piece, dry and paint it with glaze, I have to return to collect once it's fired but it's a well pack session for 2 1/2 hours.

Wheel throwing session today with Carole. We were party of three. We had so much fun; the environment was very friendly and interactive - we had so much fun learning how to wheel throw the clay, and learnt so much about different types of pottery. It’s a whole new world ! Really recommend Clay with Carole !!

An absolutely outstanding experience! It was my first time ever working with clay, and I was blown away by the results. From learning the basics to throwing the clay, shaping it, painting, and glazing it for firing, every step was engaging and so much fun. The final pieces turned out stunning! I can’t recommend this enough—100% worth it and incredible value for money. I’m already planning to book another session!
