We had a brilliant time doing a wheel throwing taster session. Holly was so welcoming and encouraging, and a great teacher - we made far more than I thought we could in a couple of hours as complete beginners! Would highly recommend, we'd love to come back and do more.

Holly is a brilliant teacher and fabulous host. She is patient, informative and skilled in techniques. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time learning from her during my 5 week throwing session. I look forward to joining more classes. Friends and I also booked onto the Galentine's session, it's was brilliant, just what we needed!

I attended the Pottery Experience Tater Session with 2 friends today. We had a great time. Holly worked us through making a mug which we decorated & under glazed ready for firing. We then had a go on the wheel. turning a pot. Our efforts will be fired ready to collect in a few weeks. Holly is an excellent teacher. We were able to work at our own pace with her skilled encouragement. With quality tuition, materials and kiln firing this course is extremely good value. Thoroughly recommend 🤗

We had a wonderful session, making our own mugs and adding some lovely colours and shapes from Holly’s collection of molds. We got to spend some time on the wheel, and I really enjoyed Holly’s teaching style - I did much better this time than at a previous session somewhere else! It’s a really lovely environment, I would love to go back and do it all again.

Had a great morning at a Gonk making workshop. This is the third activity I've done at Weston Cottage Pottery and as always Holly gave clear instructions and lots of positive advice to help everyone achieve. My first time at the new studio and it was great. Thank you

For a first time pottery experience i can only say wow! The atmosphere within the studio was fun, educational and yet also so very calming. Holly was a great host with a wealth of knowledge and a true sense of making you feel both welcome and engaged. As the session continued my confidence grew and i was truly able to be as creative as I wanted to be. Would throughly recommend to anyone either as a newbie like me or someone more experienced.

Had a private wheel-throwing taster session today and it was amazing! Holly was so great at talking us through everything and helping us along the way. We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to see the pieces we made once they’ve been glazed. We’ll definitely be booking again soon. We also had a chance to look around Holly’s shop after the session and picked up some gorgeous pieces – everything was amazing!
