I had such a brilliant time at the Wheel Throwing Taster class with Art Craft Studios! It was my first time trying pottery on the wheel, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. The instructor was absolutely fantastic—so patient, clear, and encouraging. She had a great sense of humour and explained each step in a way that made it really accessible and fun. The session was hands-on, relaxed, and such a great way to explore something creative. I left with a whole new appreciation for the craft and would love to come back and learn more. I’d highly recommend this class to anyone looking to try something different—you don’t need any experience, just a willingness to give it a go!
I had such a lovely experience at Art Craft Studios! Amanda has created a beautiful, cozy space with a personal and supportive approach. It was my very first time working with clay, and I absolutely loved it — the process felt calming, creative, and surprisingly therapeutic. I can’t wait to come back and paint the piece I made today. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something new, unwind, or improve their skills ❤️
It was my first time throwing a bowl and it was much more difficult than expected. I did enjoy it though and got to make several of them, not necessarily getting better each time 😅
Great experience with Amanda who is clearly very passionate about her job. We found the class very relaxing and they even took a Polaroid picture at the end with our pots which was super cute. Thanks a lot! We would love to come back again to learn more.
My partner and I had a workshop with Amanda. We both loved it so much! It’s was so relaxing and such a positive space to have a great experience in. We were talked through every step and shown so much patience. We would recommend a workshop any day! Whether you are just looking for something different to do or getting into pottery. Can’t wait to go back and glaze our pots and see the final outcome.
Great location and wonderful teacher. Taken two groups and they all thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
