The wheel throwing class with Aslan was amazing - this was my first time learning to make pottery and he was fantastic in demonstrating and helping us the whole way. Aslan glazed them and the end products were so beautiful - I really love them. Would highly recommend x

I did the wheel throwing taster class as a creative evening with friends - it was so much fun! Aslan is a great teacher and guided us through the process of throwing clay with a supportive and positive attitude in the relaxed environment of his studio. With the small class size he was able to help us each with our technique. I’m really happy with the finished pieces and highly recommend the class!

Amazing experience - I’m never good at arts and crafts but Aslan was super patient during the wheel throwing class and I learned that mistakes in pottery can be fixed unlike mistakes in life 😂 I managed to create three beautiful (in my opinion) pieces that I can actually use to eat and drink. It was over 2 hours but time flies when you’re having fun!

I had such a great pottery class with Aslan. It was my first time doing pottery and we gradually went through from theory into practice. I really appreciated the chance to keep trying and have a lot of ‘go’s, but also he helped me to come away with 3 beautiful pieces. I will be back and 100% recommend!

I had a wonderful eve learning to throw with Black Cat Pottery! As a total beginner I wasn't expecting to be able to make much, but Aslan's great teaching and patience made it so enjoyable and meant we all got the hang of it quickly, and the small class size meant that each person got one to one help throughout. I highly recommend the class to anyone wanting to make some pottery !

Me and my dad had such a lovely time making pottery at black cat pottery. We had such fun learning from Aslan whose teaching was detailed and clear, and let everyone feel at ease especially if it’s your first time on the wheel. An intimate and incredible learning experience and a great way to spend time with loved ones!
