I have done the 5 weeks class and absolutely loved it! The place is welcoming, you feel comfortable really quickly. Barnaby is a calm, patient and encouraging teacher. Meditation sessions are suggested before the class but not mandatory. The overall vibe was great, everyone is free while being guided when needed. I was excited to come back each week to finish a piece or start a new one. It’s a great way to spend an evening in the week to cut from daily life, and you leave with 5 pieces, this is great. I definitly recommend!
Have been a Drop-In Member at the studio for well over a year now. The studio is fantastic and offers all the supplies you may need. All members and teachers are lovely and welcoming. The Drop-In option is perfect if you are unable to go to the studio consistently like me. It keeps pottery low stress/ commitment and also lower cost! Just what a creative hobby should be.
The 6 week beginner course was so much fun! I had a million questions and Barnaby was able to help with them all! Would highly recommend 🙂

I took the 5 week course at Dalston Clay and fell in love with pottery. Barnaby and Emma are fantastic teachers and there’s just a great community here even on the social nights. My favourite hangout spot in Dalston!
