Ceramics Studio Co-op

I first joined the winter term as a complete beginner and Anna brilliantly spent 12 weeks walking us through the basics. I rejoined the Spring 12 week term where I spent time trying and playing without the lesson structure but always with support and advice from Anna and Tatiana. I absolutely love my weekend pottery classes with the Ceramics Studio. The space is beautiful and well loved, my fellow students are friendly and helpful and all the materials (and great colours!) on hand are bound to inspire you in creating pottery you'll cherish forever. I could not more highly recommend signing up for classes!

Absolutely amazing experience. Started the summer course and I now intend to continue each seasonal course because pottery has become my new hobby. It takes a while to get the hang of, but with the help of Anne(teacher) and the fabulous environment, you learn and feel so much at peace. It a great way to shut off from the real world problems have time for yourself.

I took a wonderful pottery throwing-on-wheel class at the Ceramics Studio Coop, and I cant recommend it highly enough. Anna is a great and knowledgeable teacher, the studio is well equiped and I had so much fun in this small-numbers class! Learned a lot and made great gifts for christmas. Pottery is both easier and harder than you might think, it is a wonderful zen experience, and I am sure you will love it - give it a try!

I took my first class several years ago & have been coming back on & off ever since. It’s such a lovely atmosphere to learn in- the classroom is spacious & light & well equipped. Anna is excellent teaching fundamental skills in building methods & throwing then different decorating techniques & glazing whilst also supporting students at different stages of their ceramics journey. The classes are small & friendly- Anna is very attentive so whilst you have freedom to let your imagination go she is always available to help on a 1:1 basis. Both Anna & Tatiana, who expertly handles firing, really care about the outcome of your work & I’m always excited to see what everyone else’s pieces are like coming out of the kiln- it’s always high quality stuff! I love it here & definitely recommend it to anyone keen to give ceramics a try!

I've loved coming to ceramic class every Saturday morning, the atmosphere is creative and inviting. Anna is a wonderful teacher, she has taught me to be patient and that it is ok to make mistakes which is the best way to learn from. Her skills and knowledge are excellent and if you have an idea for something, she will do her best to get your vision and make it work!

Incredible studio. Clean, well organised, they foster an environment of creative freedom, and are very nurturing! Absolutely love it here.

Wonderful studio with great owners. The class format is great for a wide range of abilities, with newbies able to have plenty of instruction, and more experienced people able to do their own thing or asking for more specific questions.
