Fantastic! Two friends and I did the wheel throwing course as a birthday gift and we had such a good time! Flo was very welcoming and sweet and walked us through the entire ceramic making process, focussing specially on the wheel throwing. She was very helpful when we had a go ourselves making sure that we would be happy with our finished products. We got to choose a colour for each of our creations and they were glazed and posted to us a few weeks later. They turned out great, we’re currently using them as jewellery/key dishes, tea light holders and sauce/side dish pots - Would highly recommend the experience!

I did a wheel throwing lesson with Flo and really enjoyed it. She’s a friendly, knowledgeable and patient teacher and helps put you at ease and create something you’re happy with! Her studio is beautiful and the glaze options she had were gorgeous. I’m looking to sign up to her longer course in the future. Would highly recommend ☺️

Definitely book pottery in the pub if you’re looking for a new weeknight activity, it was so much fun! Me and my friends each made 2 different creations and Flo was so helpful at teaching us the techniques. My cats love their food dish!

Highly recommended! I attended a 6 week pottery course with Clay Away at their gorgeous studio in Leyton and only have good things to say! Flo is an excellent, warm and knowledgable teacher; she walks you through the entire creative ceramic making process and offers loads of hands-on guidance for turning your ideas into reality. The studio space is relaxed and calm and Flo is able to give lots of individual support on the pieces you are working on. It was really nice to build up pottery skills over the six weeks and very exciting to pick up all the finished pieces a few weeks after the course. As a complete beginner, I was able to finish about 8 different pieces which included bowls, vases and mugs.

We loved our lesson with Flo! I took my mum and Auntie and we had a private session! Flo was so relaxed and helpful! We can’t wait to come back!
