My 10 year old son went for a term and loved it! We needed an activity to balance his heavy interest in sports and Clay Club turned out to be a big success. He was enjoying every moment and was coming home content and proud of his creations. They even got to make beautiful Christmas ornaments which filled us with joy! My other personal favourite: the Autumn leaves bowl. and, of course, little Ghosty. Highly recommended!!!
My 8 year old son attended a holiday club session with two friends. He doesn’t seek out creative tasks but loved this workshop! He will definitely return. Sophie is great with the kids and there is a great balance of freedom and guidance.

We discovered Clay Club on our recent trip to London to visit friends. What a perfect place for my son 5yr to be creative and meet new friends! Sophie is an amazing ceramicist and her patience and fun loving interaction with the children was made the experience so wonderful! My son can’t wait to come back for a longer course learning about art history while creating. And please please come pop up in NYC soon!
I had such a fantastic time at this adult pottery class! We were introduced to both wheel work and hand-thrown techniques, and Sophie was a clear, patient, and encouraging teacher throughout. I was genuinely amazed at what we were able to create in just one session, and it gave me a real sense of achievement. I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for a creative, hands-on experience.
