Fiona Veacock Ceramics

Fiona's workshop was fantastic. Our family of four (children aged 6 and 3) all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the experience has stuck in their memories. There was heaps of choice, instructions were clear, Fiona went out of her way to be helpful, and there were some beautiful examples around for inspiration. She had patience in abundance and wonderful ideas to draw upon. Thoroughly recommended!

My partner and I did Fiona’s pottery workshop on a lovely chilled Sunday. Fiona did an amazing job teaching us about how clay works and guided us through constructing a mug and dish tray each, in addition to carving a design on a plate. The pieces have come out beautifully and we have been using them since picking them up. Highly recommend, Fiona is an attentive and kind teacher with lots of knowledge to share to get your creativity flowing!

I took my mum along to this pottery session and we both loved it so much that we will be booking more things to make with Fiona. Also Fiona is such a lovely, gorgous and kind person.

I can not recommend a session in Fiona’s pottery studio highly enough! It was a thoroughly relaxing and educational. She is extremely knowledgable and takes you through, step by step to make some lovely pieces. The time went so quickly!

We had a beautiful afternoon making mugs with Fiona. Her studio is a lovely cosy refuge on a grey January day! She talks with such passion about her beautiful work and helped us make mugs we're really proud to show off. A great experience! We'll be back as soon as we can xx

My sister and her man finally got themselves hitched in the Autumn last year. I wanted to mark this occasion with a functional but personalised gift. They love ceramics so I approached Fiona. Fiona worked with me to create a unique gift. She guided me through the design process letting me know what would work and what wouldn't. She took my snapshots of places significant to the couple and created beautiful line drawings that were glaze onto the platter. The platter is a functional piece and has been used on multiple occasions, including to serve the Christmas Ham. The platter will be used for years to come and hopefully will become a family heirloom. It arrived beautifully packaged and was appreciated by the couple and their sons when we handed it over in a socially distanced way! My fine art student son and I had the best morning ever. Such great instruction, fun, productive and such scope for creativity. Highly recommend the opportunity if you can convince friends and family to get a voucher for a birthday or Xmas present. And you produce wonderful Ceramics.
