I had such a nice time at Muni. The studio has a really warm and relaxed atmosphere, and the teacher was patient and very encouraging. It was my first time trying pottery and they made the whole experience easy and fun. I’d definitely recommend it.
Such a fantastic studio! The staff are kind, helpful and charming. I did one of their 4 week throwing classes and my teacher Ada was wonderful. I am a beginner but am very happy with what they helped me to make! I can’t wait to do another course. Thank you Almudena and team! 🙏😊
What a great discovery! Pottery for a beginner like me has been so enjoyable:-) great teacher, Victoria’s instructions, her vibe, her help and smile made it all very easy to learn about pottery! A small group we had great chat with the other people there , highly recommend !!!
We had an informative taster pottery class and each made two pieces to take home with us in a few weeks. The teacher was patient and friendly. The small class structure is good for allowing more attention to each classmate. However, we were quite unlucky that on the day of our class, it was super cold (-1C) and both of the radiators did not work in the studio, so we had to do pottery in the freezing cold which was rather unpleasant. The owner reached out after to explain that this was an exceptionally rare occurrence and offered a goodwill partial refund. We wish that they had checked in advance / realised sooner, so we could be informed or had the option to cancel. I hope that the issue is addressed soon and no other future classmates will go through the experience we had. Be mindful and dress super warmly if you go during the winter! ----- Updated - they don't keep their collections schedule up-to-date (note there is a baby on the way but it's already Thursday and the schedule was meant to be updated on Monday). They also don't email you when your piece is ready so you have to keep checking the website yourself. Overall a very immature business that I really wanted to like.
Muni Pottery Studio was such a great experience! The mug-making workshop was fun, relaxing, and really well-organized. The instructor was super patient and helpful, making the whole process enjoyable even for beginners. The studio itself has a cozy and welcoming vibe, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a creative and hands-on activity in London.🙌
I had the most fantastic morning here with my daughter and her friend. We all left beaming and I can’t tell how much we learnt. Victoria our teacher was super patient and so helpful and we all enjoyed it thoroughly . And when you see what she can do without blinking it certainly makes you want to continue to master the skill! The 2.5 hours flew by and most of all we all got a real taste for learning more. Initially I was finding the wheel more tricky than I should have and Victoria just kept coming back and ensuring I understood the steps and suddenly it feels like it all clicks and you have the bug. I sent the photos to my friends and all of them wanted to sign up. I could not recommend the service more highly . Such a lovely company and so so helpful. We will 100pct be following through and booking more classes. I can’t recommend this more highly. Thank you for everything.
I wanted to say thank you so much for the taster class today. It was an incredible experience. I have never done any pottery before & found the studio a calm and relaxed place where I was comfortable enough to really enjoy myself. Having the mix of throwing on the wheel and hand moulding pieces was so amazing. It has really shown me what pottery is about and not to be afraid of doing it. I would definitely love to take it further after doing this taster session, so thank you again for a wonderful experience!
