I’ve just finished x2 lots of the 12 week Monday pottery course with James and the fact that I signed up again for another 12 week course says it all! I had never done any pottery before but felt so comfortable in the class, with James guiding us through the process. It’s a perfect mix of guidance, providing inspiration and then letting you get on with what you want to do. James was the absolute best too - so knowledgable, passionate and importantly such good fun! I found the classes so therapeutic and have come away with some amazing pieces from a dog bowl, to a egg holder! I can’t recommend this course enough if you want to do something fun, creative and relaxing!
Thank you for our taster session in pottery. Very welcoming, calm and peaceful environment. Super engaging, personable and patient from Kameo. Loved her introduction, her story of her journey into pottery and the sustainability aspects shared. Very clear and easy to understand instructions. Completely freed the mind of all else and left feeling on cloud nine! Just found a new hobby. Thanks
Fantastic relaxing afternoon with my friend at the taster pottery class in Walthamstow.. instructor was clear, friendly and helpful. Time flew by. I wish I could have kept all 3 pieces I made (even if I had to pay extra) so that's my only minor criticism. A great fun event, highly recommended!
I absolutely love SkandiHus studio - the teachers are brilliant (I've done classes with Justin and Deej), the space is cosy and well equipped, and I love the ethos of the business - they run regular workshops and events which bring the community together. I got started with a taster class and went on to take the 12 week course during which I learned so much, in a supportive environment where every student is encouraged to express their creativity. I plan to do another course soon 🙂
I had a brilliant time. I've never worked with clay before, and Stine provided a wonderful space and workshop that allowed me to connect with the practice. Skandihus is a wonderful studio and you can feel the intention that makes it such a beautiful place to create.
Went for a taster class to this newly opened studio and it was very fun and informative. The studio itself is nice and cosy with lots of plants, and a 2.5 hour class helps you switch off from the outside world and focus on creating something with your hands. I’m considering doing a full pottery course at Skandihus.
Highly recommend a Pottery class at SkandiHus Pottery. Found doing pottery like a meditation and was very relaxing. Stina was very helpful and gave me some great ideas and guided me to create a great piece of art. My friends and I will be going back for sure.
