Isil Ceramics

My husband Paul and I had the best time making jugs with Isil and her lovely friend and assistant Diane. Isil was fantastic, she showed us how to do each step clearly and offered suggestions on ways to decorate our jugs. Looking forward to a) booking onto another course and b) to get our finalised jugs back in a few weeks time.

We did Isil’s hand moulding pottery class as a group of 5. It was an excellent class. Isil was very patient with us and gave great instructions whilst we were making the jugs. We all really enjoyed the class and would definitely recommend it! Thanks Isil for such a lovely time.

Isil is a fabulous teacher and such a kind lady. I enjoyed throwing a couple of clay pots SO much !! Isil made it a really enjoyable, fabulous experience...thank you Isil.... we'll be back for sure !!

The moment I walked into Isil’s pottery class a few months ago it was the most welcoming fun and inspiring creative space. She is a brilliant engaging teacher taking you through all the techniques you need to know. I always look forward to my two hours every week and thinking of new ideas. Isil is always on hand to help you with a big smile. Xx

I have been coming to Isil’s groups now for just over a year. I have loved every minute of it, not only do I love making things and taking them home to show my family but every single person I have met along the way has been very welcoming and friendly. We have this little family in the pottery world and have made great friendships. Pottery for me is a chance to unwind, de-stress and mindful. As an anxiety sufferer, Pottery takes your mind off everything as all you do is think and talk pottery. Isil is a wonderful teacher and has a wealth of experience that she is always happy to share with you.

Isil ran a Candle Wax Burner Ceramic Christmas workshop for a group of us recently. We had a very enjoyable morning and Isil was very instructive and so patient with us as we each created our unique design. She was relaxed with us as we nervously shaped our clay and really helped all of us to produce something beautiful that we were proud of by the end of the session. I would definitely recommend her courses as they are such fun and anyone at any age would enjoy the experience. Thank you Isil!

Absolutely loved today - we booked as a group of 4 to make jugs and mugs. We had so much fun making and designing them and Isil was so lovely and very patient! We had a perfect day and exceeded all expectations ❤️ Highly recommend!
