My friend and I attended this weaving day as a birthday treat to ourselves. Louise is warm and welcoming and a born teacher. She makes a good cake too! It was a very enjoyable day and we ended up with lovely scarves. Highly recommended.
A fantastic class in the studio. Louise is a brilliant teacher and goes beyond n above to help you. The class is an absolutely value for money, you learn so much and the yarn and everything needed is included. The studio is really inspiring and relaxing to be in. I cannot praise this place enough. It was my first time and I'de definitely return.
A fantastic day hand weaving a scarf. Hosted and taught by Louise who was a patient, kind and thoughtful tutor. Beautiful studio and wonderful company. Pace of the day was just right as was the size of the group which was limited to 4. I will be returning for the intermediate workshop.
I can highly recommend Louise's weaving course. She is a wonderfully caring and patient teacher who has thought carefully about what can be achieved by beginners in just one day. It was fascinating learning how to set up a loom and the lovely houndstooth scarf I managed to weave has already received many compliments!
I had a brilliant full day weaving course with Louise. With 4 people in the class Louise could support all of us in turn. A very good teacher and host for the course. She had a wonderful range of wool colours to choose from. A very patient person with us all and we were all delighted with our completed scarves! The day was very good value and would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a try at weaving. (Alternatively, Louise hand weaves gorgeous items that are for sale in the shop if you are looking for a present). Many thanks Louise for a wonderful day!
A lovely day spent learning how to weave with Louise. When i went to the class I had no idea how to weave, the result was a beautiful scarf. Thank you Louise, I look forward to future crafting and learning new skills with you.
