Cernamic Dalston

We had a wonderful family day out at Cernamics in Dalston. David our instructor was great. Kind and attentive and gave clear instructions. He lent a hand when needed and we came away with lovely pots made by our own hands.

I organised my birthday ceramic party here with 12 of my friends and their kids, and it was a fantastic experience. Nam and Sam were excellent teachers and made the session fun and engaging for everyone. We all had a great time, including the kids, and the ceramics turned out beautifully. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I just completed a beginners pottery course at Cernamic Dalston and honestly I can't recommend it enough. Nam and Susi were fab teachers who explained the process of throwing, trimming and glazing pots in such a clear and patient way. You can tell they're both so passionate about what they do, and I loved the community feel of the studio too. My class was the highlight of my week and I've come away with some lovely ceramics to show for it. Would highly recommend!

I would absolutely, wholeheartedly recommend taking a taster session at Cernamic with Jaelin as the teacher! From the moment we arrived at the studio, Jaelin greeted us with a warm and hospitable attitude. I had never attempted pottery before and was a little bit nervous about taking my first class, but Jaelin helped to reassure me and I felt right at home. The class itself covered the basics of throwing and some hand-sculpting. Jaelin talked us through the steps for throwing and was a kind and patient teacher. I learned so much and really enjoyed my time during this session - I definitely will be coming back for more classes! I cannot recommend this taster session enough, it was very well run and I walked away with a real sense of accomplishment. Thanks so much Jaelin for such a fantastic session and opening my eyes up to pottery!

Attended a 3 hour pottery taster class and was taught by Jaelin who is brilliant! It was my first experience so I was a little nervous but Jaelin was so helpful and friendly! Would highly recommend 🤩

I always enjoy my time at Cernamic. Nam is brilliant, incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely accommodating. He went above and beyond to support a collaboration with my university society, even designing and leading a four-week course for us. Throughout the course, he helped everyone grow in confidence and skill in the studio, always taking the time to give thoughtful guidance. The atmosphere is welcoming and encouraging, and every single person in our group loved the experience.

Amazing session, my first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were super friendly and helpful, we will be back again. Thanks so much.
